BioposturalSysMotion-Cerv® is a protocol for evaluating the joint mobility of the head and neck through the measurement of the joint excursion (also called Range Of Motion, ROM) relating to the movements of flexion-extension, lateral flexion, rotation on the horizontal plane and rotation in natural or induced flexion to verify the degrees of joint freedom of the UPPER and LOWER cervical (according to Rocabado), the measurements allow monitoring the effectiveness of the treatment programs and the patient's progress.
BIOPOSTURAL SYSMOTION CERV
BioposturalSysMotion® is an innovative inertial system consisting of a 9-DoF accelerometer based on MEMS technology, applicable to the body and connected via Bluetooth, and software based on a fully graphical interface in MS Windows™. The device was born from the need to create a flexible instrument with broad clinical applicability, combined with extreme ease of use, compared to traditional joint degrees of freedom (ROM) analysis systems. Furthermore, BioposturalSysMotion®, through proprietary algorithms, minimizes ROM reading errors, typically introduced by the operator, thanks to the automatic selection of the acquired signal and its processing.
